A quick diet summary,
99 cents is an ok price for what you get. If you’re looking for a short & quick version of the ‘low-carb’ diet, this is for you. I didn’t see anything new in here; and he just gives general guidelines without specific meal plans or recipes. I’m not totally sold on any diet that bans enough foods that it couldn’t be turned into a lifetime eating plan. Doing the math, the 10% weight loss in 60 days is about what I would reasonably expect to lose on any diet + exercise plan that works….

|No-nonsense and easy to follow,
I had a feeling I knew the premise for this book before I purchased it and I was correct. It advocates for a high protein, low-carb approach to weight loss. This approach makes sense to me and is an approach that is very popular in weight-loss books currently. I think the guidelines are easy to follow because you have a splurge day to look forward to, which takes some of the pressure off to be perfect on the diet. The book was a quick read, a good, bare-bones guide to losing weight.

|The best weight-loss book in the market!,
The first thing that caught my attention about the book was the number of pages. 20 pages didn’t make much sense for a self-help book and so I was skeptical. but i was wrong and Phil has done it again! He has managed to take all the information and present it in a nut-shell which makes sense to common people. I loved reading the book and it was really interesting.
Here are some of the things that I liked in this book –
1. Concise and short (hardly 22 pages long).
2. Very factual and accurate information. I was able to follow the diet for a week and I am already feeling better.
3. Easy instructions that can be followed by anyone.
4. Diet suggestions are not too expensive, i loved the idea of 7th day splurge (thats unique!)
Even if you are not looking to lose weight, you can still give this a shot – there are tips here which will improve your lifestyle. This book is the LITE-VERSION of weight-loss books and is truly effective.
